GABON

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Gabon CSR Activities

  • We work to enhance the social benefits from our operations, placing an emphasis on hiring qualified local workers and supporting a variety of community investments.
  • Starting in 2019, under PID/PIH funds, VAALCO and its partners sponsor the SOLAR LIGHTS project in Gabon, to install 2300 Solar lights in rural areas.
  • Support the Nissi House, a non-governmental charity organization that fights against child trafficking and underage labor. VAALCO’s support goes beyond the provision of needed supplies as our local employees invest their time and efforts to repair and maintain the building when needed, creating a sense of pride and generating a high morale and values environment that we are all proud of.
