TransGlobe's success as an operator was quickly established at West Gharib where a number of producing wells have been drilled. TransGlobe's latest successes can be attributed to the fracture stimulations of Nukhul formation at the Arta and East Arta fields. In April 2011, West Gharib production reached a record high at 11,468 Bopd.
